It's rarer too.
If a McLaren 720S is somehow not extreme enough for you, perhaps you should check out the recently-revealed McLaren 765LT. The LT is 39.7 pounds lighter than the 720S and its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 45 more horsepower for a total of 755. McLaren will only build 765 examples and if you aren't fortunate enough to be one of the lucky buyers, an aftermarket tuner will give you another option.
Prior Design, a well-known widebody installation expert, has recently focused its expertise on the McLaren 720S. The McLaren 720S by Prior Design is a more extreme take on extreme take on the supercar and only 10 will be built, so it's even rarer than the 765LT.
The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 has been left unchanged, so it still produces 710 hp. This isn't much of a hardship though because the 720S still cracks 0-60 in just 2.7 seconds, which is exactly the same time as the 765LT. If you require more power, there are plenty of other tuners available. But where power remains the same, Prior Design has gone mad with the styling.
In the front, the Prior Design 720S is characterized by a vented front hood and a crazy diffuser that should render the car undrivable in the real world without a front end lift system. In the back, the active rear spoiler has been replaced by a massive rear wing that should help the car feel more planted at high speeds.
But the most significant change, by far, is the addition of massive fender flares made entirely out of carbon fiber. As you'd expect from a supercar like this, pricing is available "on request" and if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it. Prior Design will happily sell you some wheels and interior modifications to match your awesome widebody kit. The company even sells an aftermarket exhaust to make the 720S even louder.
