In a time before seatbelts and your ever-faithful iPhone application CarBuzz, Boston, Massachusetts, was a hotbed of automotive activity and, like any population enjoying the benefits of driving, there were plenty of crashes. Safety standards were virtually non-existant back then, and we can't imagine how hard it would be to fix these cars back then.
