You can't keep a good racing engineer down. So when Toyota Motorsport GmbH had nothing to do in between the shuttering of its F1 team and the launch of its TS030 Hybrid endurance prototype, it started toying around with the Lexus LS. The result is set to debut later this month at the Essen Motor Show (Europe's equivalent of SEMA, only sans the Vegas glitz), but to get the juices flowing, TMG has released a series of teaser images to join the spy shot we've already seen, showing specific angles of its pet project.

Tipped to be called the Lexus LS-F TMG Edition, the AMG-rivaling super-sedan concept is tipped to pack a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with as much as 650 horsepower. But as these images show, the racing-tuned sedan isn't only about its powertrain. TMG has also given the LS a smattering of custom carbon-fiber components, including hood, roof, wing and side skirts, along with lightweight wheels, a matte-finished widebody exterior and more.
