There can be no denying that some cars are more difficult to see out of than others, or that limited visibility can cause problems in even the easiest cars to see out of. But now a plan for a transparent car promises to solve that problem in a way which is only slightly unsettling. The car is not literally transparent, of course, but instead an array of cameras and projectors work in conjunction to allow the driver to see past obstructive bits of car.

A working prototype has already been built, and while the safety benefits sound solid, one has to wonder what it would be like to actually drive such a thing on the highway.
