Top Gear Magazine is turning 20 this month. So, in time honored tradition, there's a bumper collectors' edition that looks back at the last two decades of the popular car mag. As part of the celebration, over 100,000 readers voted in a poll choosing their favorite cars from the past twenty years. Head to the website if you want to see which cars made the top fifty, we've decided it more apt to limit the list to the top twenty.

Taking top spot is the 2005 Bugatti Veyron, which at the time TG said of the supercar "Nothing prepares you for the shock of the acceleration when you open the throttle and unleash a thousand horses..." Everyone's all round favorite the VW Golf GTI takes second spot, while in third place the Rolls Royce Phantom, which ten years after breaking cover continues to set the benchmark in automotive luxury. The stunning Ferrari 458 in fourth place and Porsche Boxster round off the top five, while the top ten is completed with the Lexus LFA (10), Renault Clio Williams (9), Porsche 911 (8), Ford Focus (7) and BMW 320d (6).
