Tanner Foust has taken a Ford Focus RS500 loaded up with 350hp to the Nordschleife for some hot laps.
Ford lent a Focus RS500 to TopGear USA host Tanner Foust for some laps on the Nordschleife at the Nurburgring. You may remember the Ford Focus RS500 as the limited-run model Ford Europe produced only 500 units of. They quickly sold out after the announcement of the new model. The RS500 features a turbocharged 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine that can put out 345hp and 339lb-ft of torque. The hot Focus can go from 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 165mph.
Foust is highly regarded for his driving prowess and it shows as he takes his front-wheel-drive Ford up to 150mph and shows his adeptness on the Nurburgring by passing a Ferrari. Check out the clip below of Tanner Foust talking about his day with the Focus RS500 and watch him in action on the Nordschleife.
