As one can expect from a Japanese tuner, it was only a matter of time until Wald International got its hands on the Toyota GT-86 (known on these shores as the Scion FR-S). Set to debut next month at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the tuner's most recent take on the rear-wheel-drive sports coupe may not have any power upgrades, but a new exterior package does add some new flair. The enhancements include an aggressive aero package punctuaed by a new hood with air scoops that remind us of the nose on a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

Also new are rear fender extensions, larger rear spoiler and a rear diffuser with quad exhaust tips poking out. The front end features a new lower front bumper as well as a lip spoiler. Five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in performance tires round out the package. Further details will be announced next month at Tokyo.
