Tire-maker Marangoni has introduced its Toyota GT86-R Eco Explorer at the Geneva Motor Show, a car that is both high-performance, eco-friendly and easy on the eye. At its heart is a Bigas International NH3 system for the boxer four that can be fueled by either gasoline or ammonia, stored in its own tank and offering zero emissions at low speeds. Thanks to an optimized air intake and large stainless-steel exhaust, output is now 20 horses higher at 220 hp.

Other performance goodies include an adjustable KW suspension that lowers the car by 35 mm and Brembo brakes. A TRC Italia body kit inspired by the Lexus LFA includes a new front bumper, ventilated aluminum hood, a new rear bumper with carbon-fiber air extractor, and a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, boot handle and mirror covers. The bodywork is finished in Flash Chrome with a gloss black roof, with a set of 19-inch Barracuda Karizzma alloys wrapped in ruby red M-Power EvoRed tires. The interior boasts new racing seats, pedals and gear shifter all by Sparco, plus carbon-fiber trim and an Alcantara headliner.
