A couple of weeks ago we received word that Toyota approved to begin development of the GT86 sedan. But now there's a new rumor indicating the sedan concept will have debut at the Dubai Motor Show this week. The picture you're seeing here appeared on the Dubai show's Facebook page, but it's really nothing more than a Photoshopped image of the original FT86 concept with a pair of rear doors.

Also known as the Scion FR-S in the US, the sedan variant will supposedly have a 100 mm longer wheelbase, and will be powered by the coupe's 2.0-liter boxer four, as well as Hybrid R powerplant that boosts output to 260 horsepower and has improved fuel economy. Toyota isn't confirming anything just yet, but considering the announcement of a GT86 is already very new, it's seems a little early for the concept to appear. Then again, automakers always love a nice surprise.
