We've see quite a bit of the Toyota C-HR concept over the past few months. However, we haven't seen it out and about, that is to say actually driving. Well, that's all about to change…in a few months. Toyota just announced that its quirky little crossover will compete in the Nurburgring 24 Hours which is run from May 26 to 29. The little tyke will be part of a three-car lineup also featuring the Lexus RC and RC F. There's still not much known about the C-HR.

It seems destined for Scion, which would be a great help for the automaker as crossover sells like hot cakes and Scions don't. Toyota did say that the C-HR running around the Nurburgring "will be closer to the final production version than the most recent concept, presented at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show." So, there's that. Even if you don't give a crap about Toyota or Scion, you have to admit that it'll be pretty cool to watch a pint-sized crossover take on the field in an endurance race at the famous Nurburgring.
