Toyota Is Finally Building The GT86 That The World Has Been Begging For

Special Editions / Comments

Will it come to the US?

Ever since the Toyota GT86 came out, enthusiasts around the world have been pleading for a more powerful and track-focused variant of the affordable sports car. Toyota has just previewed a special-edition track-oriented GT86 package that will be exhibited at the Toyota Auto Salon in January, but the sportier vehicle will only be available in Japan. The Gazoo Racing Masters of Nurburgring (GRMN) edition gets a host of mods, which include a new exhaust system, reworked suspension system, high-flow air intake, a massive rear wing and much more.

With 16 more horsepower, aerodynamic parts and less weight, the GRMN will cost Japanese enthusiasts roughly $54,000 and is the sports car we've been begging for.
