Special-edition GT86 is only for Germany and comes with upgraded wheels and trim.
With some of the best handling in the business at an entirely attainable price, it’s hard not to want a Toyota GT86 (or its clones the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ for that matter). But for customers in Germany, at least, Toyota is making it that much more tempting with the limited-production GT86 Cup Edition. The limited-edition sports coupe upgrades with 18-inch OZ Ultraleggera alloys wearing Pirelli PZero Nero tires, a unique rear spoiler and a set of racing stripes to complement the available white, black or red paint schemes.
Inside the cabin is decked out in Alcantara and black leather with red stitching. The car also comes with a pair of complementary VIPs to the Nurburgring, where the GT86 Cup Edition was launched yesterday at the season opener for the VLN Endurance racing series. Only 86 examples will be made, each individually numbered and fetching a €2,860 premium over stock.
