Toyota just launched a new Yaris in Japan in December 2010 (where it's called the Vitz), and it was shown as a concept hybrid version as well in the Geneva Motor Show. Now, images that have just hit the web showing that Toyota has patented a design for a new sport variant that will likely replace the Yaris TS. From what we can tell, this new model features a full body kit that includes a new front bumper, daytime running LED strips, side skirts, a redesigned rear bumper.

There's also a new roof spoiler and multi spoke alloy wheels. Hopefully, Toyota will also include a more powerful engine over the current car's weak 133 hp 1.8 liter. The automaker has already confirmed it will be upgrading the suspension and braking to improve handling. No possible debut date was announced.
