If you've had your eyes on a Toyota GR Supra, we have some great news for you. The manufacturer's much-hyped sports car is being offered with a seriously enticing Memorial Day deal. This comes after word of massive employee discounts for the Supra earlier this month. According to CarsDirect, the 2020 Supra can now be purchased at zero percent APR, which extends to a maximum of 60 months across the majority of the United States.

A quick calculation shows that this works out to a monthly payment that is reduced by $111, with a $6,600 difference in interest, when compared with a more typical five-year loan with a five-percent APR.

This isn't the only saving available for the Supra right now. Toyota has put an impressive $3,500 rebate on the table for customers who forgo the zero-percent APR, which is said to be the biggest individual discount on any 2020 Toyota so far. As tempting as that is, it's not the best overall value.

Based on a purchase price of $50,000, zero APR works out to $833 per month over 60 months, as opposed to $878/month when the rebate of $3,500 and a five-percent loan is factored into the equation. By not going for the rebate, the total saving works out to $2,600. There are also attractive lease deals to consider, with one deal in New York working out to $509/month over three years with $4,999 due upon signing.

Of course, these deals apply to the 2020 GR Supra which is only available with a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. For buyers who are willing to wait it out a bit longer, the 2021 GR Supra will be even cheaper, as it introduces a more affordable variant with a 2.0-liter turbo-four - we expect it to go for around $40,000, which is a whole $10k less expensive than the current six-pot. It's no slouch, either, with this engine able to propel the base Supra to 60 mph in just five seconds.

Whether you buy now or wait it out for the updated 2021 model (pictured below), the Supra has suddenly become a lot more attainable either way, which is great news.
