Like many major auto shows this year, the annual SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas was canceled this year due to the global pandemic. In its place is SEMA360, an online-only digital event allowing manufacturers to showcase their latest aftermarket accessories on outlandish concept vehicles. Toyota is presenting four separate models, including three customized Supras. For off-roading fans, Toyota has transformed the Tacoma into the ultimate overlanding adventure truck. Created by 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine, the Overland-Ready Tacoma is equipped with a slew of off-road upgrades that make it the "ultimate outdoor lifestyle rig."

Based on the already-hardcore Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, the customized pickup truck features ToyTec BOSS Aluma 2.5 Series coilovers, shocks and add-a-leaf package, a Toyota E-locker locking differential, CBI Offroad Fabrication lower control arms, front to rear aluminum and steel skid plates, and DOM steel tube rock sliders with top plates.

It also includes new upper control arms provided by Camburg Engineering and traction boards by MaxTrax MKII and rides on 16-inch matte black wheels from Method Race Wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires. Other exterior modifications include a CBI Offroad Fabrication T3 aluminum front bumper and T3 Swing Arm Series steel rear bumper with dual swingouts, a winch, a roof-mounted 40-inch lightbar with four LED lights, a 20-inch light bar in the front bumper, a locking cargo bed cover and rack system by Truck Covers USA, and a Yakima SkyLine bed rack.

Outdoor adventure enthusiasts are well catered for, as the Overland-Ready Tacoma comes equipped with a PowerTank PT10 on-board air, a four-gallon Rotopax fuel storage container, a two-gallon Rotopax water storage container, a Hi-Lift jack, and a Yakima SkyRise cargo bed tent.

As standard, the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 producing 278 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. A Magnuson Superchargers Roots-type TVS1900 blower increases the output to 370 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque in the 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine Overland-Ready Tacoma.

"The word Overlanding may be a new word to some, but it's become increasingly popular this year as more and more people are exploring roads off the beaten path with friends and family," said Ed Laukes, Group Vice President at Toyota Division Marketing. "We were excited when the 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine editors shared their idea for this project, and we naturally thought it would be cool to include the build in our SEMA360 presentation."
