Toyota Thinks it's Cute With SpongeBob Highlander

Toyota and Nickelodeon have teamed up to help make you Happy!

Yes, this is seriously a real thing, only it’s not for sale. Toyota has partnered up with Nickelodeon to create the first SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired car. Starting off with a Highlander SUV, the duo covered the crossover with a SpongeBob-themed exterior and interior. Why exactly was this done? The popular kids’ TV network debuted the car a few days ago at the SpongeBob Day at the Padres vs. Giants baseball game in San Diego, California.

But its official duties aren’t done just yet. It will now begin a "Happy Driving!" promotional tour across the US to seven locations. If you think you can do a better job in giving the Highlander the ultimate SpongeBob paint job, you can head over to Nickelodeon’s website and create your own design. Like the TV show itself, creating your own design is probably just as mind numbing.
