It's only been a little over a week since Chevrolet pulled the sheets off its new 2014 Corvette Stingray. The online response, judging by our faithful CarBuzz readers, has been huge, to say the least. While we'll have to wait a bit longer for official test drives, some people have wasted no time in creating renderings of what the new C7 could look like when decked out for racing duties. What you see before you now are beautifully rendered images created by IACOWSKI of the C7 prepped for American Le Mans Series (ALMS) duty.

The track-ready Corvette Stingray looks absolutely bad ass with the flames spitting out its sides along with the large rear spoiler and plenty of other racing essential items. With the SRT Viper also due to appear in ALMS GT class, the possibility of an all-American high-performance car smackdown is simply mouthwatering.
