No crumple zones on a buggy.
There are some drawbacks to riding trails on a dune buggy. There is almost no safety equipment to speak of, and trails can have some seriously blind corners. The latter of the two usually isn't the biggest of issues, as traffic isn't quite as bad as it is on the interstate, and the chances of another off-road vehicle coming the other way around the corner tend not to be very high. But that obviously doesn't mean it can't happen.
