Trans Am Burnout is a Cloud of Smoke and Wonder

Smoke and burned rubber. Prius drivers not welcomed.

There’s nothing like engine noise and tire smoke. We love it and green hippies hate it. And with that, the latter will no doubt despise everything about this Pontiac Trans Am that normally puts down 1,100 horsepower on higher boost. While taking part in a burnout contest, the driver shredded through a set of tires and the car itself nearly caught on fire. Fortunately everything came out in one piece, but this is no doubt one of the coolest burnouts we’ve seen in a long time.

Ok, so enough talk and here's your burnout video. Enjoy and let us know if you happen to find a cooler demonstration of burning rubber and potential fires.
