We absolutely love the BMW M2, and there's very little we'd do to improve it. What we would change has been attended to by BMW already in the outstanding CS, but that hasn't stopped tuners from fettling both these cars. G-Power is one such tuner and recently revealed a ridiculous power increase for the M2 CS. Back in 2019, we reported on the tuner's efforts with the milder M2 Competition, but it seems that G-Power is obsessed with this car. It's now released new tuning options for the small sports car, and as usual, excessive power is the order of the day.

As with most tuning upgrades, G-Power started by installing new air filters, boost pipes, and finally a tune. But to really ensure that the tune is both reliable and raucous, G-Power has also fitted the M2 with a crankshaft central screw lock to prevent the S55 engine's commonly known crank hub spinning issue and a DeepTone sports exhaust to prevent your neighbors from sleeping well.

With 3.5-inch matte carbon finishers, this system draws attention even when the car isn't running. These upgrades have resulted in outputs of 543 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, up by 138 horses and 111 lb-ft. G-Power says that the M2 Comp will now do 0-62 mph in just 3.7 seconds and top out at 186 mph.

You may have noticed that this car features orange 'G2M Limited Edition' lettering on the doors, hood, and trunk. That's because the G2M package is being limited to 25 units at a cost of just under $14,500. Installation will set you back another $1,150 before options like Hurrican RS or Hurrican RR forged wheels, but you do at least get a performance steering wheel with shift lights, carbon, and suede. Also included is a numbered plaque on the center console and custom floor mats. It's an impressive package for the car and relatively affordable. After all, supercar-rivalling top speed for under $15k sounds like a bargain to us.
