Trion SuperCars to Build 2000HP American Hypercar


California startup aptly names its upcoming model the ‘Nemesis’.

With the Koenigsegg One:1 outshining the Bugatti VeyronSuper Sport’s 1,200 horsepower by delivering an additional 100 horses, newcarmakers looking to draw attention to their models are now under even more pressure to push theperformance envelope farther. Crushing both those models numbers, a newstartup automaker from California named Trion SuperCars promises that its firstmodel, the Nemesis, will deliver a whopping 2,000hp.

The Nemesis will be powered by a twin-turbo V8, mated to an8-speed sequential transmission. With a top speed of over 280mph, it willspring from 0-60 in a mere 2.8-seconds. With a lightweight carbonfiver chassisand Inconel alloy body, the car will also feature McLaren P1-style rear end andfront grille. No details have been released regarding pricing and deliverycapacity, but Trion says a prototype model should begin its production withinone month. Stay tuned for more details.
