California startup aptly names its upcoming model the ‘Nemesis’.
With the Koenigsegg One:1 outshining the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s 1,200 horsepower by delivering an additional 100 horses, new carmakers looking to draw attention to their models are now under even more pressure to push the performance envelope farther. Crushing both those models numbers, a new startup automaker from California named Trion SuperCars promises that its first model, the Nemesis, will deliver a whopping 2,000hp.
The Nemesis will be powered by a twin-turbo V8, mated to an 8-speed sequential transmission. With a top speed of over 280mph, it will spring from 0-60 in a mere 2.8-seconds. With a lightweight carbonfiver chassis and Inconel alloy body, the car will also feature McLaren P1-style rear end and front grille. No details have been released regarding pricing and delivery capacity, but Trion says a prototype model should begin its production within one month. Stay tuned for more details.
