From street-legal lightcycles to Mercedes-Benz concept cars. If you have ever dreamed of cruising down the street in a lightcycle while listening to Daft Punk, then you are going to love all of these "TRON"-inspired autos. The lightcycle is perhaps the most popular feature of the "TRON" films, barely edging out the series' stunning visuals and soundtracks. Both car and motorcycle designers have been directly inspired by the films, creating rides that look more like they belong in a computer than on the street.

Parker Brothers Choppers has pulled off the impossible, bringing the lightcycle from "TRON" to life. The replica bike is powered by electricity and has a top speed of 100mph and a max range of 100 miles, with the bike's battery charging in as little as 15 to 35 minutes. If you have ever dreamed of owning your own lightcycle this could be your best shot as the shop plans on giving away the bike.

The unimaginatively named "TRON Race Car" from West Coast Customs and Monster Cables is a killer four-wheeled "TRON" tribute. The car is a sight to see during the day when its chrome paint job makes it too shiny to be street-legal. At night "TRON Race Car" really puts on a show with its glowing vents, hubcaps and interior. The MCP would be pleased.

Peter Vardai is the man behind the stunning Mercedes-Benz Blackbird concept. The Blackbird is a door-less coupe that features a sleek and sporty shape designed to subtly invoke Mercedes racing heritage. Vardai's design makes a not-so-subtle nod towards the future with its glowing blue accents that cover the exterior of the car.

The BMW i8 may not explicitly be inspired by the "TRON" films, but it is tough to argue that this futuristic hybrid doesn't make at least one or two nods to Disney's sci-fi franchise. The smooth and streamlined body of the i8 coupled with its blue accents on the door and front grille seem to suggest that BMW had the lightcycle in mind when they designed this awesome hybrid.
