Tuned Koenigsegg CCR by Edo Competition

Tuning

As if the Koenigsegg CCR isn't fast enough, edo Competition has taken it upon themselves to make the Swedish hypercar even more powerful. More specifically, it was an owner of a CCX that sought out the tuning firm to make their car even better. Basically, the guy wasn't impressed with the factory-spec version. The tuner began by modifying the drive ratio and a complete ECU remap.

With these modifications, the 4.7-liter V8 hits its torque peak earlier and has an increased output of 879 hp. Strangely, top speed was slightly reduced to 242 mph, even with the extra power. Engineers also disassembled the transmission and replaced the plastic bushings with Uniball units, which results in improved acceleration and drivability. The interior was also outfitted with Alcantara upholstery, a redesigned center console, a new infotainment system, and a tire pressure monitoring system with a display that's integrated into the dashboard.
