Tuned Rolls-Royce Wraith Looks Like a Real-Life Luxury Batmobile

This stealthy luxury grand tourer bears the signature of Prior Design and features upgrades inside and out.

Rolls-Royce is preparing the launch of the Spectre, a two-door battery-electric model. And since there's only room for one coupe in the Goodwood's stable, the carmaker pulled the plug on the Wraith (and its open-top sibling, the Dawn).

A couple of months ago, Rolls-Royce sent off the Wraith with the Black Badge Black Arrow, a special edition limited to twelve copies. Yet certain aftermarket firms think there's still a solid market for them.

Prior Design is on that list, and the German tuner recently revealed a souped-up Wraith aimed at owners that want to add some spice to their luxury ride.

It sports a matte black look with Prior Design visible on the doors and rides on a new set of wheels that seems to have come from the aftermarket world. A chin spoiler and fatter side skirts contribute to the enhanced styling, and the chrome-delete package appears to round off the makeover.

Images shared by Prior Design on social media earlier this week provide a glimpse inside the re-upholstered cockpit. It mixes fine leather and Alcantara upholstery in a black and red two-tone look. The tuner's logo can be seen on the seatbacks and the center armrest between the front seats.

Named the BlackShot, the conversion suits all versions of the Wraith, and it likely does not include a power boost. The tuner hasn't mentioned anything about the oily bits, meaning that we are probably looking at the stock 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12. Without outside intervention, it pumps out 623 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.

Any gearhead will tell you that it's not polite to ask how fast a Rolls is, but in the case of the Wraith, it is very agile for a car in this class that entered production a full decade ago. Zero to 60 mph is dispatched in just 4.6 seconds, and it can do up to 155 mph flat-out. Pricing for the tuning kit was not released.
