Ugur Sahin Design has just released a new concept model based on Alfa Romeos of past. The modern-looking Alfa Romeo 12C GTS Concept looks terrific and could one day become the real thing, if USD's work from the past is any indication of their future plans. The firm is best known for their work on the initial design of the Soleil Anadi model which made its mark at Top Marques Monaco show earlier this year.

They were able to conjure up enough funding to turn the Corvette Z03-based concept into a reality and they are attempting to do the same with the Alfa Romeo 12C GTS Concept. The concept seen here takes historic Alfa Romeo design lines and presents it with a modern package, complete with the Italian automaker's signature V-shaped grille.

Though we have no idea which car it will be based on or what might power such a concept, it does look a bit like a larger version of the Alfa Romeo 8C. USD elaborated on their Alfa Romeo 12C GTS Concept's design, saying that "One of the main features of the design is the way its stance is shaped. As a whole it gives you the impression of 'forward-movement' even while standing still. The iconic Alfa Romeo Grille hosts the center of the organic lines which flow towards the back and around the car with minimum distraction and maximum visual impact. The way the front is designed consists of two different shape compositions to make the face of the car sporty and aggressive, yet so appealing. "

They continued, saying "The side silhouette creates a balanced front-to-back ratio that grabs your attention with proper proportional balance and the perfectly straight line that divides the upper and the lower parts of the car seamlessly wraps around the back making the car look as a whole." So CarBuzz readers, as Bob Ryan in Entourage would say, "An Alfa Romeo 12C GTS Concept... is that something you might be interested in?" If not that's ok, we'll just bro-hug it out later.
