Slovenian supercar maker previews its second model ahead of its imminent reveal.
Solveniansupercar-maker Tushek, best known for its Renovatio T500, has revealed thefirst images of its upcoming mid-engined exotic: the Forego T700. TheRenovatio T500 managed a 0-62 mph sprint time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of192 mph, yet only generated 450 horsepower. That was a result of itslightweight construction. For the Forego T700, an even lighter chassis has beenused for a curb weight of no more than 1,000 kg, which has been coupled to a more powerfulengine, specifically an Audi-sourced V8 rated at over 700 hp.
Like the McLaren P1 and LaFerrari, the new supercar will be built around a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, but will boast some titanium parts. A racing variant dubbed the T700 Pista is also in the works, with both cars tipped to be introduced at next month’s 2013 Top Marques Monaco, where Tushek revealed the Renovatio T500 last year.
