Maybe there’s a reason Lambo won’t fit its cars with turbochargers.
Tuning and aftermarket modifications are all about power and appearance. Well, in this case, it was mostly about power. Somebody decided that the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale needed some more of it, and fitted the car with a Heffner twin-turbo. The result was a 1000+ horsepower Gallardo, which should be pretty awesome, in theory. But in this seemingly simple drag race, even keeping the car in a straight line on the tarmac proves to be impossible.
Check out this fail as the Gallardo goes spinning out of control and ends up in a nearby field.
An additional video, thanks to our friends at 1320, shows the car completing a 218 MPH pass earlier in the day as well as a an improved shot of the spinout.
