Toyota has introduced the new GT86 TRD exclusively for the UK, which it will build in a limited run of 250 units. Featuring genuine design and performance parts from in-house tuner Toyota Racing Development, the impressive upgrades will hopefully make their way stateside for the Scion FR-S. It's sporty styling, first revealed last year, includes 18-inch TF6 alloys, deep front and side skirts, a rear spoiler and a quick-response quad-exhaust with rear diffuser. TRD branding features on the radiator cap and fuel filler cover, while a new TRD gear shift lever has also been fitted.

No engine mods means 0-62 mph remains at 7.7 seconds and top speed at 140 mph, although fuel economy is said to have improved and stability has also been improved at higher speeds. On sale from March 1, the GT86 TRD 2+2 coupe will be available in Pearl White and GT86 Black, priced £31,495 for the manual and £32,995 for the auto.
