Would you chase a V8 all the way to Japan?
When BMW presented the 2015 M4, it was met with endless criticism for ditching the M3's tried and true naturally aspirated V8 formula for a smaller, 3.0-liter inline-six turbo. Then, happily filling the gap, the Lexus RC F was launched. With a 5.0-liter NA V8 making, the angry-sounding Japanese coupe is ready to challenge BMW's place at the top of the performance coupe segment. But does it have enough to really take down BMW's reign as the ruler of this category? Is a V8 all that it takes to prove this car's abilities on the track?
