Aventador S

Before this article starts, we must warn you that it contains a video using an impressive selection of crude words. George Carlin would have been proud.

Then again, you'd expect some obscene language in a fender bender involving a Lamborghini Aventador. But this is anything but your average crash video, usually involving a Ford Mustang or BMW M4.

The Aventador in question belongs to Matt Heller, the man behind Hornblasters. In case you didn't know, Hornblasters is a company that sells super loud horns. We discussed it in the office, and it does not qualify as irony. We agree that it's pretty amusing that the man who made his money making cars louder and therefore more noticeable got rear-ended by an Audi. To be clear, we're not making fun of Heller. He recorded the aftermath of the incident and seemed to be in high spirits.

*Update: New information has been added to the bottom of this article.

The aftermath video is one of the strangest crash videos we've ever seen. After showing what appears to be the passenger of the Audi that he was pulling into a nearby gas station, the chaos started.

The Audi driver can only be described as furious.

As you can see in the video, she immediately blames Heller for driving into her brand-new Audi. Even though it was the Aventador that got rear-ended.

Heller stated that he was phoning the police. Meanwhile, the woman threatens to beat Heller's "bitch." She also calls the Aventador an "ugly ass" car. We don't agree with her assessment. The Aventador is a stunning supercar, especially in Ultimae Roadster specification.

Eventually, her friend had to restrain her while she continued to yell profanity at Heller and his passenger.

The video doesn't show the police turning up, but the gas station's cameras provided a final answer to the mystery. It clearly shows the Audi driving up to the reasonably parked Aventador, making no attempt to slow down.

Update: There's More To The Story

After the crash and the ensuing profanities went viral, it would appear the story isn't over yet. It would appear that despite the woman rear-ending the Aventador, she was right in claiming that Heller had hit her Audi to start. New video evidence (below) has appeared in which Heller can be seen overtaking the Audi illegally at the intersection, scraping against the Audi and then nearly running over a cyclist in the process. This just goes to show that all is not what it seems on the internet. The woman, clearly enraged, rammed into Heller's Lamborghini as an act of revenge. We're not condoning her road rage, but can now understand her frustration at the wealthy elite thinking they can get away with anything when they drive a nice car. Still, two wrongs don't make a right.
