Best known for its twin-turbo Gallardos, Underground Racing recently got to work on an Audi R8 GT, spending eight weeks on the engine before sending it out to the UAE. The twin-turbo R8 was set up with a Stage 3 engine build, which gives the car 1,000 horsepower at the wheel on pump gas and 1,250 hp on racing fuel. Underground Racing also added a MoTeC boost-by-gear system and quickshift to ensure it can channel all that power to the ground. No word on the cost, but these jobs typically run around $94k.
