This year marks the 25th anniversary of the SAE Foundation and the charity is celebrating with a gala and money-spinning auction at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Roush has prepared a special edition one-off 2013 Ford Mustang complete with their Stage 3 tuning package to go under the hammer at the event, sure to raise some serious coin for the Foundation's education and outreach programs. The 2013 Ford Mustang has been fitted with a body kit from Roush and finished in a custom silver livery.

In addition to a Roush Dual Chamber exhaust system and suspension comes a set of SVT GT500 racing-spec wheels. Typical of a Stage 3 tuning package is some serious added power. Roush has tuned the Mustang's 5.0-liter V8 up to 625hp. The interior features a pair of Recaro seats wrapped in custom leather, billet pedals, Ford Laguna Seca X Brace and Roush gauges and miscellaneous parts. What makes this Roush Mustang even more unique is that it will be driven by Jack Roush in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Michigan 400 as the pace car.

The 2013 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustang has been signed by Roush, Edsel Ford II and Bill Ford Jr. Proceeds of the sale will go to benefit the SAE Foundation. The auction takes place next month on May 16th.
