Update Expected for Avenger in 2011

Industry News

In 2011, the Dodge Avenger is expect to receive a mid-life refresh. Due to new Chrysler owner Fiat, the company is making significant updates its mid-size offering. While details are not clear at the moment, the exterior will receive some updates along with a redesigned interior. Interior components will probably be upgraded as well. The overall design language of the current Avenger is not very attractive, especially when compared to the Ford Fusion and the Volkswagen Passat.

The Avenger is not only similar to the Chrysler Sebring, but also shares a platform with the Dodge Journey, a mid size crossover utility vehicle.
