There's no shortage of automotive YouTube channels centered around crazy builds, spectacular stunts, and destruction. Still, when it comes to the craziest videos, WhistlinDiesel is undoubtedly up there as one of the most unhinged. Their latest exploits? Driving a Tesla Model 3 upside down on ten-foot-tall wheels.

While no one has ever wondered if this is possible, the team decided to determine if the popular electric sedan can be driven like this. A perfectly usable example was picked for this bizarre experiment, including some left-field durability tests. Aside from driving the car with a wheel clamp, WhistlinDiesel also thought it would be a good idea to summon the vehicle through a garage door and take a chainsaw to the rear seats.

After several quips about charging an electric vehicle, the team finally fits the Model 3 with the large wheels. While it may seem like another stunt designed to wow viewers, the custom steel wheels are that big for a purpose. With the help of a digger, WhistlinDiesel flips the car over, and the massive buggy-style wheels provide enough ground clearance for the Tesla's roof not to scrape the road.

It's a struggle to enter the vehicle, but presenter Cody Detwiler manages to clumsily enter the car and actually drive it with surprising ease. The large wheels make it difficult to corner, with a gentle bend becoming a four-point turn. As you'd expect, seeing the upside Tesla going down the road is quite a sight.

For many, this is about as extreme as it gets, but, unfortunately (for the Tesla, at least), WhistlinDiesel left the biggest stunt for last.

Right side up, the Model 3 is sent down a hill at high speed, which makes for dramatic viewing. Surprisingly, the big wheels hold up well, supporting the electric sedan as it catches air and lands violently. In the end, though, it ends with the Tesla being destroyed in a dramatic crash.

While we can't deny that it's entertaining, we can't help but think this was a waste of a perfectly usable car. Hopefully, the Model 3 in question was destined for the scrap heap, and this was a fun way to bid farewell to the electric vehicle.

The channel is known for conducting crazy tests and stunts, all in the name of YouTube views. Previously, they set out to destroy an old Toyota Hilux by dropping it 10,000 feet from a helicopter. The eccentric bunch also thought it would be a good idea to fit a Dodge Challenger Hellcat with buggy-style wheels.
