Information remains scarce on the special edition model Ferrari is planning to celebrate the carmaker’s 60th anniversary in the United States with. However, during his last public speech, outgoing Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo revealed the special edition model would be limited to ten units, carry a price tag of $3.2 million, and wear a paint scheme of blue with white stripes, colors the North American Racing Team used from the 1960s-1980s when running Ferraris.
The special edition is believed to be based on the F12 Berlinetta, and will be revealed on October 12, a day before Sergio Marchionne takes over as Ferrari boss. The exclusive model has already sold out.
