V12 Vantage S is Aston's Fastest

Aston Martin's most extreme road-going Vantage to date claims the carmaker's acceleration and top speed record.

Upon revealing the new V12 Vantage S, Aston Martin failed to reveal pricing and performance stats. That wrong has now been righted with the carmaker announcing the model can sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.9 ses, making it the brand's fastest accelerating production car to date (One-77 excluded). Power comes from the new Vanquish's 565-hp 6.0-liter V12, which helps it reach a 205 mph top speed. The only Aston quicker than that is the aforementioned One-77. Aston has also revealed pricing for the new V12 Vantage S. In the US it will retail at $184,995 and in the UK at £138,000.
