Hoonigan knows crazy drag races more than anyone, featured via its This vs That series on YouTube. The last race it organized was a high horsepower drag race between a 2JZ-powered Nissan Silvia and an LS-swapped Holden Commodore. This time around though, it looks like the team cooked up something strange but special.

For this bonkers-level drag race, they took it to the Land Down Under to feature two epic rides from two Aussie tuners. The first one is a tiny Datsun 1200 Ute powered by a 6.0-liter LS V8 engine with a gigantic blower towering up from its hood. It makes 950 horsepower, and we're surprised that it even managed to fit into that tiny engine bay.

Meanwhile, the other car is a drift-oriented Honda Odyssey minivan. Sounds strange out of the blue, but get this - it's a drift build with a 2JZ inline-six from the good old Toyota Supra A80. At most, this engine swap setup makes 500 horsepower, which isn't as impressive as Honnigan's very own 2JZ-swapped GR Supra but still impressive for a minivan.

For the first round of the 300-meter, best-of-three drag duel, the Datsun pulled out fast and managed to win. As the Hoonigan guys pointed out in the video, both cars were having trouble keeping traction. Even the Datsun pickup owner admitted that he didn't give it the beans too much for this very reason.

In the following round, the tiny V8 pickup truck managed to increase its gap from the Odyssey by up to seven car lengths. Obviously, its pilot gave it more go juice allowing the V8 to roar and stretch its muscles.

For the last round, they decided to give the 2JZ Odyssey a three-car-length handicap. But even then, the V8 truck still managed to take the win.

But much like how Verstappen conquered the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix, the blown Datsun's victory was expected from the get-go. This was based on the mods alone and the slicks it wore.
