The UK panel van market has a new player in the form Vauxhall's Combo, and with its blend of class-leading features and technology, it could well become the firm favorite of private owners and large fleets alike. It's to be sold in two wheelbases, two heights (1.85m and 2.10m), two weights (2 tons and 2.3 tons), two trim levels and four engine choices: a 1.3-liter CDTi and 1.6-liter CDTi bother offering 90hp; a 1.6-liter 105hp, and the range-topping 2.0-liter CDTi 135hp.

The 1.3-liter units will be fitted with 5-speed manual transmissions, whilst the 1.6 CDTi is offered with a choice of a Tecshift automated manual or 6-speed manual. GM Europe and Fiat Group came up with what is ostensibly a commercial vehicle and that appears to be a disguised Fiat Doblo, which will be sold stateside under Chrysler's Ram brand name. Prices start from £14,703 with standard gear including trip computer and electric power steering, whilst the new Sportive trim includes a/c, metallic paint, armrest & lumbar support.
