Veneno Roadster Debuts in Abu Dhabi

Check out some live shots of the most extreme Raging Bull ever built.

Unveiled back in October, the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster has now enjoyed its public debut with VIP guests invited aboard an Italian aircraft carrier docked in Abu Dhabi to check out the 3.3-million Euro supercar up close. The 240-meter sea vessel is currently on a trade mission tour of the Middle East, promoting Italian-made goods. As part of that mission, Lamborghini is representing the Italian car industry of which the incredible drop-top Veneno is the absolute pinnacle.

Powered by a 750-hp mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12, the Veneno Roadster is an open racing prototype with racing car aerodynamics, a carbon-fiber clad interior and a power-to-weight ratio of 1.99 kg/hp, enabling it to sprint from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and hit a 221 mph top speed. We are honoured that Lamborghini was chosen to represent the Italian car industry in the UAE, as a perfect example of iconic Italian super sports cars, and that we have the opportunity to show the Veneno roadster for the first time in Abu Dhabi," said Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann. "The Lamborghini Veneno roadster is one of the world’s most exclusive cars with the most extraordinary performance." Hat tip to Dina!
