Veneno Showcased at Super Trofeo

Lamborghini brings out its three-million-euro hypercar to show off to the fans and racers at the start of the 2013 Super Trofeo season.

What’s the point in rolling out a new multi-million-dollar hypercar if you can’t show it off? Apparently Lamborghini feels the same way, so it brought out the new Veneno to show off to the racers and fans at the star of the 2013 Blancpain Super Trofeo at Monza. The Super Trofeo, of course, is a spec racing series that pits specially-prepared Gallardos on tracks around the world. Some of Lamborghini’s wealthiest clients compete in the series, so it would seem the perfect occasion to showcase the Veneno - even if all three are spoken for.

The Veneno, as you may recall, was revealed last month in Geneva, featuring a radical design and a 6.5-liter V12 packing 750 horsepower. Unfortunately Lambo doesn’t appear to have run the car around the circuit, but it was on display for all to see, and for videographer A8C100 to capture for us.
