People who think their ill-conceived modifications somehow adds value to their car have been an almost unending source of entertainment to us. This most recent example comes from Craigslist Miami, and is listed as 2002 Dodge Viper. Only after reading a bit do we find that the car is actually a replica built out of a C4 Corvette. The actual model year isn't listed, but it would be between 1983 and 1996, and is definitely not 2002.

It has an automatic transmission and "needs a complete tune up" (translation: might not run). The ad boasts that "some original parts were used," namely lights, mirrors and badges, although he did spring for actual Viper wheels. Now the best part, this idiot is asking $10,999 for this abomination, which he describes as "rare." That's about double the going rate for a badly maintained automatic C4. It is cheap compared to the price of a used 1996-2002 Viper GTS, but no matter how difficult this is for replica owners to understand, that doesn't matter. In the end, all you have is a ruined Corvette.
