Infiniti has released the first picture of the Sebastian Vettel -inspired FX50 not long before the F1 world champion unveils the concept at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month. If you recall, Infiniti designed a special edition of their top-of-the-line luxury SUV in collaboration with Vettel, who's also a global company ambassador for the Japanese automaker. One of his personal road cars is an FX50. Compared to the current FX50, Vettel's concept resembles the FX Limited Edition that was sold in 2010.

However, the new concept features a restyled grille that's similar to what we've seen on previous Infiniti concepts, such as the Etherea that was shown last spring at Geneva. Other differences from the current FX50 (which we've also pictured) include an aggressive carbon fiber spoiler that's been modeled from the front wing of an F1 car. There are also LED running lights just above the spoiler. The concept is also missing the roof rails that are currently on production models. It also boasts a rear wing and the body has been finished in Moonlight White pearl metallic paint along with silver 'Vettel' badging and carbon fiber wing mirrors and sills.

Interior details haven't been revealed yet, but we expect for there to also be a number of upgrades such as an F1-inspired steering wheel with extra buttons and controls. Overall, the Vettel FX50 is being described as a "performance concept," as we also expect for it to have increased power coming from V8. More details will be coming shortly from Frankfurt.
