We first heard about the Rimac Automobili Concept One months ago and sort of scoffed at the possibility of a 1,088hp and 2,800lb-ft of torque electric supercar from a Croatian company that had never produced an automobile of any sort before. Well, as the supercar approached its debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, we became more and more convinced of this possibility and when it finally debuted, wow did it look good.

Taken outside Rimac's headquarters in Croatia, this video shows that the Concept One is truly the real deal. Featuring four electric motors, one on each wheel, the Concept One can sprint from 0-62mph in only 2.8 seconds and it has a range of 375 miles thanks to its 9.2kWh lithium ion phosphate battery.

The video may be a bit shaky, however it shows the Croatian crew's electric supercar pulling out of the driveway and driving a bit down the road. It looks as good as we were hoping it would, and although word is still out on whether it will make it into production, with performance and looks like that we are praying Rimac Automobili finds funding soon.
