Popular video game makers Electronic Arts teased fans by giving them a preview of the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S with its new game, Need For Speed: The Run. The new video game will feature three exclusive cars: the V12-powered Lamborghini Aventador, Camaro ZL1 and the upcoming 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S. Electronic Arts has even shown a few various angles of the Carrera S, including one shot of the left headlight and one of the rear vent.

Although it doesn't seem like much, the video game designers leave fans with a teaser and plenty to talk about. The Need for Speed: The Run will arrive on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC starting November 15th in North America and November 19th in Europe. By the time the game gets released, we will have already seen the premier of the new 911 Carrera at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. We can expect the Porsche 911 Carrera S to arrive on the market sometime early next year. Under the hood, the it will generate its power from a 3.8-liter flat-six producing around 400hp.

The base Carrera and Boxster S will get their power from a 3.4-liter flat-six with 350hp. Both engines will be mated to either a seven-speed manual or seven-speed PDK transmission.
