Can't wait three years to drive the production version of the Acura NSX?
Just yesterday, Acura unveiled their all-new NSX concept at the Detroit Auto Show. And to our pleasant surprise today, we've found this video that showcases both the concept and the original NSX in the Gran Turismo 5 videogame. The new concept is powered by a next generation VTEC 3.5-liter V6 with direct-injection. In addition, it's been given a further power boost thanks to an electric motor. And with Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive hybrid system, we imagine that the production version will be quite something.
Most importantly, Honda's CEO has confirmed that the NSX will come to market in three years' time. The original Acura NSX was launched in 1990 and so was advanced and ahead of its time that it remained in the automaker's lineup until 2005. In the meantime, you can get behind the wheel of the new NSX only when playing Gran Turismo 5.
