Video: Audi A1 Quattro Goes Snow Drifting

The A1 Quattro may seem tame, but it's nothing short of an AWD beast.

It's always fun watching a car drifting in the snow, and even more so when the car is limited edition and one that you're highly unlikely to ever get behind the wheel of.

Only 333 Audi A1 Quattro models are to be built, with 252hp and 258lb-ft of torque coming from a 2.0-liter TFSI engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Gasoline direct injection combines with turbocharging in true Audi style, which coupled to a Quattro permanent AWD system makes the limited edition model essentially a rally car for the streets. It only takes 5.7 seconds for the car to shift from standstill to 62 mph and it manages a top speed of 152 mph, but this wasn't something it was capable of going in sub-zero Sweden on the ice. It did, however, manage to drift in the snow with consummate ease.

The A1 Quattro is only available in Glacier White metallic livery and features a gloss black roof, dual exhaust, 18-inch white turbine design alloys and a huge rear wing.
