Audi releases a new video of its Urban Concept before its Frankfurt debut next month.
After the official release of several sketches and an unofficial release of the camouflaged prototype on location in Berlin, Audi has revealed a short teaser clip of its Urban Concept ahead of its Frankfurt debut next month. There still aren't many new details about the upcoming concept, however, we do know that the Urban concept is a 1+1-seat, ultra-light car for congested urban spaces and is the next model in a series of etron-branded concepts. The concept will feature 21-inch wheels, two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack.
Audi claims this power combination will deliver "sporty performance." The body is composed of carbon fiber reinforced plastic with a sliding canopy in place of conventional doors. The video is pretty interesting as it indicates the direction Audi will be taking over the next several years in EV development.
