We previously wrote about the Maserati GranCabrio by Fendi that was displayed at this year's Frankfurt Auto Show. Basically, it's a standard GranCabrio, albeit with unique interior and exterior styling. The special edition car was designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi and the project was a celebration of the two common values shared by both Fendi and Maserati: craftsmanship and tradition.

It features an exclusive exterior paint consisting of a three-layered color called Grigio Fiamma Fendi, a redesigned interior complete with FENDI yellow trim, upgraded wheels, and lots of Fendi badging, which can also be found in the center of the 20-inch alloy wheels. The Italian beauty is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 mated to a six-speed shiftable automatic.

Besides the 70s TV theme music playing in the background, this video released by Maserati shows the building process including all of the intricate details such as the leather stitching, mechanicals, and all other finishing touches. No word yet whether a production run is being planned.
