Is this a stroke of marketing genius or has Scion lost the plot?
For a new online campaign for the recently launched iQ, Scion has put together a series of warped commercials. The idea is pure genius in its simplicity: passengers, ranging from bikini-clad babes to hairy bikers, attempt to gorge on donuts and drink large glasses of milk while the city car does tight donuts in a parking lot. We would love to have been at the marketing meeting when that idea was put forward.
The four spots are dubbed BABES 'N' DONUTS, DUDES 'N' DONUTS, BIKERS 'N' DONUTS and COPS 'N' DONUTS and you can check them out at the Scion website. We uploaded our favorite, no prizes for guessing which one that was.
