The 2010 Dodge Viper ACR has officially taken back its Nurburgring record-setting title.
A couple of weeks ago, the Dodge Viper ACR set a new Nurburgring record. Previously held by the Lexus LFA, Dodge wanted to reclaim the production car record title from Lexus.
So they took two 2010 Viper ACR's to Germany. Thing was, Dodge wasn't able to prove they reclaimed the record at that time. But now, they're making it official. With a record setting time of 7:12.13, the Viper ACR came in at roughly two seconds less than the Lexus LFA Nurburgring (7:14.6).
So here are the two videos released by Dodge celebrating the event. So how long will this new record stand? Only as long as Lexus (or anybody else) can't build something that can take down the Viper ACR.
